Many people ask me, “why did you decide to study Acupuncture?”. My answer is truthfully, “because it works, and it has worked for me time and time again.” After receiving my first acupuncture session, I knew there was a treatment out there that didn’t feel invasive, it didn’t feel dismissive, and it was amazing! I became interested in healing modalities that address more than simply a compartmentalized view of our physical body, and acknowledge that we are complex energetic beings.

I love incorporating acupuncture, herbal medicine, bodywork and an infrared Biomat into my clinical practice for best outcomes. I believe in ‘healthcare teamwork’, and the tools in an Acupuncturist’s toolbox can be extremely useful, sometimes magical, and often underestimated. I have deep gratitude for my teachers for giving me a solid foundation to build on a lifelong journey for continued learning. For many things in life that arise and create discomfort, acupuncture and Chinese medicine can make a huge difference, and the only side effect is typically feeling more relaxed, and getting a good night’s sleep!
